Banking Jobs in India: Banking sector is attracting the youth. Job opportunities for engineering, BEd, MCA, MBA and other professional courses are less and all these candidates including the common degree candidates are aspiring for banking jobs in India.

A few days ago Institute of Banking Personnel Selection – IBPS issued notification for filled with vacancies in various nationalized banks. IBPS is handling the recruitment of clerical cadre in nine national banks for a few years. In this backdrop, all the training centres that train the candidates for bank jobs are in great demand. In this financial year, there is a chance that various banks will provide job opportunities for nearly eighty thousand candidates.

Banker’s chronicle held an online survey in 215 which revealed that at least 78 per cent engineering graduates are aspiring for job jobs. Earlier, only graduates competed for bank, railway and other jobs. Since banking offers attractive salaries, demand for banking jobs in India increased in the last few years.

SBI issued notification for the recruitment of clerks. Qualification required is the only graduation. SBI is going to fill jobs in two categories in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. These posts are Junior Associate (Customer support and Sales) and Junior Agricultural Associate. April 25th is the last date for applying to the test. Applicants must know how to read, write and understand the regional language belonging to their state. The regional language skill test is held in the selection process.

For junior associate post, graduation from any recognized university is the qualification. Applicants must not complete 28 years of age and age relaxation is given to various categories of candidates as per government order.

Selection of candidates is done in three stages. One is an online preliminary test, second is online mains exam and the third is an interview. As far as the number of posts is considered, this is the biggest notification issued by SBI after 2008. Comparing to earlier times, competition for the posts increased and the level of recruitment tests also increased. Thus hard work is necessary and this helps in getting a job in one of the top-level banks in India.
